Old Blog FOUND!

Blogger finally contacted me... yup.. after 3 weeks... talk about efficiency eh..
Now, you guys can continue visiting http://blisstic.blogspot.com
However, I'm not sure if I could post anything there yet. Apparently, they didn't manage to completely switch me over to 'beta', so it was somewhat stuck.
So this blog is with Beta and Blisstic is still with Blogger. How great..........

Mission: Get Eric O drunk!

Date: 28 October 2006
Venue: Velvet Underground
Occasion: Eric O's Big Day
Mission: Get Eric O drunk!

Happy Birthday Eric O!

He kept saying 'Thank You's after every cheers.

Me: Cheers Eric. Bottoms Up okay?
EricO: Ok.
Upon emptying the glass...
EricO: Thank you. Thank you.
Me: O_0
Such a good sport. And he thanked everyone who dranked with him.
Poor guy threw up that night. Made me feel bad for making him drink so much.
:(

I actually asked Eric C if he was dressed-up as a Pumpkin for Halloween.

Just look at that face!
He gave us 2 thumbs-up for our new hairstyles.

The Pout.
MP thinks that she looks like an anime character.
The Erics.

LL made me miss my long fringe-less hair.

Me: Oooo... What big eyes you have MP....
MP: That's so that I can spot a hunk from a distance.
Just joking. She didn't actually said that.
MP has big beautiful eyes. Mine are real chinky. ^^
See?
A bunch of drunkards
Gotta study for my next CPA paper now.

Eeek!! I am Herpetophobia.

I hate LIZARDS!! Or rather frightened by them.
I think they must be pretty smart cause they 'get' me every single time.

You know how some silly people like to hide in corners and later jump at their unsuspecting friend. They do that so that they can get a kick out of their poor friend's frighten reaction.

My kitchen lizards would play that same trick on me if I were to visit my kitchen at night.
They always hide near the sink... waiting for a chance to pounce on me...
Blur old me would walk to the sink and turn on the tap.... not noticing their presence...
Then, 'they' would crawl out from the sink so quickly and make a whole lot of noise, which made me jump EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Think the stupid lizards must be laughing among themselves. :(
Yuckk.. I hate you creepy crawly lizards..

I definitely have...

Herpetophobia- Fear of reptiles or creepy, crawly things.

FOUND: Old Seoul Post

Here's a very backdated entry of my visit to Seoul.

It was summer, so it was HOT HOT HOT. After working hours, everyone's sweaty and the subway smelled like kimchi. I guess you are what you eat. I wonder if Malaysians smelled like nasi lemak or roti canai...

I was there for almost a month, I worked weekdays and could only explore the city on weekends. Here's my weekends, in pictures...

I always thought that Lotte is just a confectionary. Apparently, their businesses include (but not limited to): departmental stores, supermarkets, fast food chains, hotels, ice-cream chains, baseball team and amusement park. What an impressive conglomerate huh? So, in Korea... I visited LotteWorld, chewed on Lotte's Apple Mint chewing gums, had Lotteria burgers for lunch, shopped in Lotte Mart and had Lotte ice-creams for desserts... pretty cool isn't it?

Can you spot me?

We waved at the camera... *smiles*

And along with the waves we go...

I have heard of all the buzz on highly-popular korean drama series, WinterSonata but am yet to watch it. I'm a sucker for sappy love shows. I would like to watch it one day... but now just isn't a good time for slow-paced lovey-dovey depressing drama series.

It was filmed in NamiIsland during WINTER. The scenery is supposed to be very beautiful, all covered in snow.

And Yeap... I was there in SUMMER.

Haven't watched the movie + Hot summer day = A clueless stroll

But, nonetheless, the island is still beautiful.

We had some Takju and fermented kimchi pancake for lunch. According to our korean friend, Takju used to be a farmer's wine. Takju tasted a bit weird to me, it was milky, sweet and a little sour. It tasted nothing like Baileys or Amarulas.

One of the tourisey things you must do in Seoul is to visit traditional Street, Itaewon.
There were heaps of tourists there. The street was lined with little shops selling souvenirs, jewellery and snacks. Very colourful for photography.

500won for a game of big candy or small candy (I think).

Handmade aeroplanes, bicycles, helicopters from colourful wires.
All the parts (i.e. the doors, the wheels and propeller are moveable)

GeongBukPalace was destroyed by the Japanese, rebuilt by the Koreans, detroyed by the Japanese and rebuilt by the Koreans again.
Wouldn't you be pissed too if someone did that to your home?

We got carried away snapping photos with the Palace Guards.
I noticed that you only get to wear the cooler red uniform if you're tall.
You can use me as a benchmark and roughly guess how tall they are.

I spent my birthday in Seoul.
My boss arrived on that day itself and bought me a cake from Dunkin Donuts.
It was pretty nice of her... but I had to stay in the whole afternoon to do work.
I know I shouldn't be complaining about working on my birthday but...
IT WAS A SUNDAY.
Oh Well... at least I had a cake.

At night, I spent my birthday on top of Seoul.
Actually, I was on a tower... overlooking the whole of Seoul.

I have not visited the KL Tower But... at least I've visited the....

A view from the toilet

Koreans have a very interesting habit. They brushed their teeth about 4-5 times a day: when they wake up, after breakfast, after lunch, before they leave work and after dinner. I was surprised to find toothbrushes in the office toilets, the company even supplies the toothpaste. Apparently, their food contains a lot of garlic and chili, which cause bad breath. Hence, the excessive brushing.

Do koreans look different from chinese? I think we look quite similar. But they definitely do not look like the actors/actresses in the drama series. See how good you are at differentiating between Korean, Japanese and Chinese --> *click*

Sitting for my CPA exams this Friday!! Wish me luck!

Till next post.

I lost my blog!!

Friends have been asking me about my blog. Most people thought that I've deleted my blog.

Well... This is what actually happened...

I’ve recently updated to the ‘beta’ version and the lost my entire blog.

Poof!!

Gone!!

Just like that.

90 over posts… 1 whole year of memories.

All GONE!!!

I should have known to avoid the word ‘BETA’. Because it’s UNFINISHED…. UNTESTED.

THIS is all that is left of my old blog. :(
